London Olympic Stadium – track now completed!

The new, super-fast running surface at the 80,000-seater Olympic stadium in east London was officially opened by Olympics chief Lord Sebastian Coe. UK Athetics chairman, Ed Warner, said yesterday: “We have one clear objective – to have one of the world’s greatest sporting events held in one of the world’s greatest cities.”
